On Wednesday I was offered and accepted a position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Religion at La Salle University. I am overwhelmed with gratitude right now and very excited to be joining this department. The other faculty have created a very supportive environment for their students as well as for each other to pursue research and I feel very lucky to have found such a home.

This is great news. Congrats! When will you be moving to Philly?
Yes, in August. We will hang.
Congrats, you!
congratulations!!
Congrats APS!
Very pleased to read this. All the best.
Congratulations, Anthony!
Yes, congratulations!
Congratulations. Still enjoying the book you edited which was presented at the AAR.
Fantastic.
Congratulations!
Congratulations!!
I know we had our differences, but please accept sincere congratulations from me as well. And you get to live in fucking Philadelphia! Not too shabby, I say…
Congrats!
Felicitations!
Welcome to La Salle’s faculty, Anthony! I’m over in the philosophy department (in Wister, perpendicular to McShain where I expect you’ll be). I’ve been reading this blog over the past few years when I’ve had the chance, so I’m acquainted with and have enjoyed your work here. And you get extra points for seeming less of a misanthrope than that Kotsko fellow. :-)
Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help smooth your transition to La Salle (I’ve been here in some capacity or another since 1996, so know where all the good parking spots are) or to Philly (I’m a native, so know where to get the good beer).
Wow, that’s really terrific and well-deserved news Anthony. Congratulations!!
three cheers!
Congrats!

This is very exciting news! Congratulations! Like Clayton said, well-deserved.
I know this is late but: congratulations, Anthony.
