It seems today that everyone is a Hegelian, with the kind of strong opinions about Hegel and his legacy that can only come from an intimate acquaintance with his imposing oeuvre. Where do they find the time? Mikhail Emelianov explains.

So, wait, “Evgeni Pavlov” and “Mikhail Emelianov” are the same person? Which one is a nom de guerre for which?
Hmm… Dudes, I know everyone knows and all, but maybe I could still maintain at least an illusion of separation between my real name and my pseudonym – just for creative purposes, you know? I mean it’s out there because my dean already received a letter to this effect (thanks to the OOO crowd – I suspect Levi’s influence) and all – so now I really have nothing to lose, but still. Maybe for the sake of consistency I can stay Mikhail Emelianov for now (just for the haters)…
Sorry — I’ve fixed it.
(Honestly, I thought both names were pseudonyms.)
Thanks.
